the transaction, Faculty’s CEO and Co-Founder, Marc Warner, will take on an expanded role as Chief Technology Officer of Accenture and join its Global Management Committee. 

The deal adds more than 400 AI specialists, including data scientists and engineers, enhancing Accenture’s ability to support enterprise transformation through secure and outcome-focused AI solutions. Faculty, founded in 2014, has delivered AI systems for organizations worldwide, including the UK National Health Service during the COVID-19 pandemic, and brings its Frontier decision intelligence platform into Accenture’s technology portfolio.

Accenture executives said the acquisition strengthens its strategy to help clients integrate AI across operations and decision-making processes. Chair and CEO Julie Sweet stated, “Now that Faculty is part of Accenture, we will further advance our strategy to be our clients’ reinvention partner of choice and lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI.” 

Warner highlighted the broader industry impact, noting, “As AI advances rapidly, the next few years will be hugely consequential for the world.” Chief Strategy and Services Officer Manish Sharma added that combining capabilities will enable clients to apply AI at scale and improve competitiveness. The integration also builds on existing collaborations with companies such as Novartis, particularly in enhancing clinical trial processes through advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
