integrates infrastructure and software to manage the full AI lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment and operations, across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.

A key feature is Cognizant’s Fractional GPU technology, which works with NVIDIA’s Multi-Instance GPU to enable secure partitioning of computing resources, allowing multiple users to run workloads simultaneously while maintaining data separation. The offering also includes pre-built pipelines, sandbox environments, governance tools, and a consumption-based pricing model. Internal testing indicates potential benefits such as 50–60% lower total cost of ownership and up to 30% faster processing, reducing implementation timelines from months to weeks.

Company executives said the initiative aims to address barriers around scalability, cost, and governance in enterprise AI adoption. Sriram Kumaresan, Global Head of Cloud and Infrastructure Services, Cognizant, stated, “Enterprises everywhere are racing to operationalize AI, but too often run into barriers around scale, cost, and governance,” emphasizing its role in turning AI into a consistent source of business value.

Denise Millard, Chief Partner Officer at Dell Technologies, added, “Cognizant AI Factory helps enterprises turn AI's potential into real value and progress,” highlighting the integration of Dell infrastructure. John Fanelli, Vice President, Enterprise Software at NVIDIA, noted, “Across industries, enterprises need solutions to quickly move AI from proof-of-concept to a secure, governed, and cost-efficient operational engine.” The launch forms part of Cognizant’s broader strategy to expand AI-driven services and support clients in modernizing systems and deploying intelligent applications.
