Abhijit Sarkar serves as Vice President and Regional Head of Healthcare at Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting. With an impressive career spanning more than 25 years in technology and business consulting— with over 15 years dedicated specifically to the healthcare industry—Abhijit has forged a reputation for driving transformative business growth and innovation. 

Throughout his tenure, Abhijit has repeatedly been entrusted with spearheading strategic initiatives that bridge evolving needs of healthcare industry with cutting edge technological advancements. His ability to architect scalable operational frameworks and implement high-impact sales strategies has resulted in robust revenue expansion and long-term client partnerships. By championing a collaborative, cross-functional sales approach, Abhijit has continuously secured new business opportunities while elevating client retention across diverse portfolios. 

Prior to his role at Infosys, Abhijit held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Genpact, where he was instrumental in cultivating client relationships and unlocking business growth within the Financial Services and Media & Entertainment segments. 

Abhijit’s educational foundation includes an undergraduate engineering degree from BIT Sindri, complemented by ongoing professional development at leading academic institutions.
