Biography

Jim Theodore has been a leader in executive search for the global hospitality, gaming and travel industries for over thirty years, having significant experience both globally and domestically at the C-suite and general management levels. Clients value Jim for his performance, integrity, and his ability to act as a trusted advisor above and beyond the typical recruitment model. 

Jim was the founder and managing director of Exeter Partners, headquartered in Boston,  where he advised and partnered with global and domestic clients within the hospitality,  gaming and travel industries, in a variety of engagements. His clients ranged from Fortune  100 Companies to start-ups as well as entrepreneurial organizations. Previously, Jim led the travel and leisure practice for two major global search firms. 

As a leading partner in the Travel and Hospitality practice at August Leadership, Jim has successfully led numerous senior-level global searches in the Americas, Caribbean, EU, Africa and Asia Pacific. 

Jim spends his free time working on his book, which is a study of iconic military and business leaders. He enjoys golfing in various venues whenever possible, especially in the  UK and Asia Pacific.
