Nitin Jain is Senior Vice President and Global Head of Business Consulting at Virtusa.

During his 27-year career spanning across the IT and Digital Product Engineering industry, Nitin has built a reputation as a visionary thought leader and disruptive executive, driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives across global geographies and business units. As the Global Head of Business Consulting at Virtusa, Nitin leads the expansion of the company’s premium consulting capabilities, with a particular focus on bringing the world of Domain, Design, Product, and AI-First strategies and our strong Digital Product Engineering capabilities to help enterprises reimagine experiences and navigate complex business transformation landscapes. 

Under Nitin’s leadership, Virtusa continues to strengthen its position as a Domain-led, Design-Led, AI-First, and Digital-first Product Engineering partner, taking Business Consulting from rank 15th to 8th amongst the top 50 consulting companies in the world, in 2025, according to The Consulting Report.  

Before joining Virtusa, Nitin served as the Global Head of Digital Products & Services at L&T Technology Services Limited, where he drove digital engineering growth and incubated specialized global practices in AI, ML, and Smart IoT. Before that, Nitin held senior leadership roles at GlobalLogic, including Vice President of Engineering, where he managed the company’s largest engineering groups in India across the HiTech and Medical Technology verticals. His extensive background also includes pivotal leadership positions at SapientNitro and HCL Technologies, where he spearheaded digital commerce delivery, strategic alliances, and enterprise content management for major global accounts.

Nitin is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. He is an advocate for organizational transformation and for creating a “fearless” culture where innovation and high-performance teams can thrive. Nitin is a recognized face in industry forums, where he actively contributes to shaping the future of digital solution strategies and lean product development.
