Biography

Ling Lau is a partner in McKinsey & Company’s New Jersey office, where he is also a leader in the Firm’s Digital and AI practices with a focus on AI software engineering transformations for leading institutions across industry sectors. As a leader in the Firm’s AI software engineering excellence practice, Ling is involved in helping institutions realize the full business value of AI through business domain adoption and AI technology delivery across the entire technology value chain from product development to software engineering, infrastructure and operations. He supports executives in building the culture, technologies, and capabilities required to deploy Digital and AI products and services to market quickly and reliably. The goal of these endeavors is to greatly increase speed to market—enabling fully Agentic AI delivery that can significantly cycle times, improve quality, and reduce costs.
