Biography
Oussama Ahmad is a Managing Partner at Artefact; a global firm focused on developing data and AI solutions for businesses and accelerating their adoption to drive business results. He leads the Travel, Tourism, and Transportation practice globally helping industry leaders harness the power of data and AI to transform their operations, customer experience, and accelerate business growth. Oussama has been part of Artefact’s leadership in the MENA region, contributing to the fast business growth and regional expansion in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
Oussama has led data and AI transformations for major organizations, such as Riyadh Air, Saudi Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Airports Holding Company (MATARAT), Saudia Cargo, Saudi Electricity Company, Saudi Telecom Company (STC), and Wasl Properties in the UAE. These programs involved formulating data and AI strategies, setting up digital factories, building big data platforms, implementing analytics & AI solutions and driving change management and adoption of these solutions.
Oussama has represented Artefact on global stages — keynoting on topics like AI for Customer Experience, Data for Emerging Tourism Destinations, and Agentic AI Orchestration — as well as hosting landmark events such as “AI for Travel & Tourism” at the Global AI Summit (GAIN 2024) in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism.
Prior to Artefact, Oussama’s journey spanned Booz & Company, Strategy& (PwC), and Oliver Wyman. He holds an MBA from INSEAD (recipient of the Henry Ford Award) and a Master’s in ICT from the American University of Beirut.
