Dr. Peter Göbel is a recognized expert in healthcare transformation, combining deep sector knowledge with advanced expertise in digital innovation. With three decades of experience spanning frontline emergency medical services, academic research, and strategic consulting, he has become one of the leading voices in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

Peter began his career in healthcare as a paramedic with the German Red Cross before pursuing studies in engineering and computer science, culminating in a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from TU Darmstadt, awarded with distinction.

Since joining Consileon in 2010, he has combined his two passions in management consulting – healthcare and modern technologies. Under his leadership, Consileon’s healthcare practice has been a driving force in advancing IT-enabled transformation across the sector.

His mission is to empower healthcare organizations to master transformation, combining strategic vision with practical implementation. He is driven by the belief that sustainable progress in healthcare depends not only on technology and processes but also on people—creating solutions that professionals truly believe in and stand behind.
