Biography
Rick Jordon is a Senior Managing Director in the Business Transformation practice and specializes in transportation, logistics and supply chain. Mr. Jordon has more than 25 global experience in industries such as Transportation, Heavy Industrials, Mobile Telecom, other Technology lines, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Retail ; and Oil and Gas.
Over his storied career, Mr. Jordon has held multiple interim management roles, such as Chief Restructuring Officer for a 120-tractor refrigerated trucking company, interim Chief Commercial Officer for a U.S.-based expedited and transporting provider, and interim Head of Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics and Customer Service for a large international bakery. As a result of his deep expertise and vast industry experience, Mr. Jordon is frequently asked to speak and contribute to leading professional organizations, industry trade periodicals and business publications, including The Wall Street Journal.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Jordon was Chief Operations Officer of Americas Logistics for Panalpina- a top 5 Global Logistics and Supply Chain 3PL Provider. Before that, he held leadership roles at AlixPartners, ICG Commerce/Accenture, Manugistics, BDP International and FedEx.
He is a member of the Association for Supply Chain Management, the American Trucking Association, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the International Air Transport Association and the International Warehouse Logistics Association.
