Prophet has appointed long-time executive Mat Zucker as Chief Marketing Officer, formalizing a role he has held on an acting basis for the past two years. The appointment follows Zucker’s
Michael Dunn, CEO of Prophet, credited Zucker with sharpening the firm’s market presence and internal capabilities, stating, “Mat has been a force multiplier for Prophet and the work we do for our clients.” Dunn added that Zucker has demonstrated the ability to combine creativity with execution, noting that he has “proven he can elevate our brand in the market while building the marketing engine needed to support our growth ambitions.”
In his new role, Zucker will oversee brand strategy, marketing operations, communications, digital and content strategy, thought leadership, and demand generation across Prophet’s global footprint. He will work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams to support regional growth and long-term reputation-building, following recent collaborations, such as the launch of ANA’s new brand practice. Reflecting on the appointment, Zucker said, “My background has always lived at the intersection of creative and strategy, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue building Prophet’s reputation and demand generation engine.” An 11-year veteran of the firm, Zucker previously helped build Prophet’s digital marketing capabilities and co-led its global marketing and sales practice, after holding senior creative roles at OgilvyOne, R/GA, and Agency.com.
