Commenting on the partnership, Scott White, Head of Product, Enterprise at Anthropic, said, “Enterprises are moving past AI pilots and into real workflows. The initiative will initially target AI Native Finance, healthcare systems, and life sciences organizations, where AI agents can support tasks ranging from liquidity forecasting and scenario modeling to care coordination, revenue cycle management, and clinical development.
Sanjay Subramanian, Anthropic Alliance Leader at PwC US, said, “Anthropic’s approach—where you organize specialized skills and ways of working with tools into plugins for a general agent—gives enterprises the performance they want with the flexibility to evolve their agent workflows much more easily.”
Under the arrangement, PwC will design industry-specific plugins, connectors, and governance frameworks that allow enterprises to embed AI directly within operational platforms while maintaining human oversight. The organizations also plan to explore further applications across sectors, including legal services, private equity, sales, and software modernization, as companies seek to deploy AI agents across broader enterprise functions.
