CACI International has received a five-year task order worth up to $85 million to continue providing engineering and technical support for the U.S. Navy’s ships, submarines, and other naval platforms. Awarded through the Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation contract vehicle, the work will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division’s Naval Architecture and Engineering Department.

Under the contract, CACI will deliver data analysis, software development, and control system improvements aimed at strengthening the design, operation, and maintenance of naval vessels. The company will also contribute cybersecurity protections for critical naval systems and sensitive operational data, supporting the Navy’s effort to maintain secure and reliable fleet capabilities as maritime threats become more complex.

CACI said the award builds on its role in supporting naval modernization through software-defined systems and technical services designed to improve performance and operational resilience. John Mengucci, CACI’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “CACI is committed to ensuring the U.S. fleet maintains superior capabilities to stay ahead of our adversaries as new threats are always emerging.”

He added that the company’s “advanced technical support, robust cybersecurity measures, and innovative software-defined solutions” will not only strengthen Navy operations but also improve efficiency and security in naval engineering. The task order reinforces continued Pentagon demand for contractors that can combine engineering expertise with cyber defense and software capabilities across mission-critical defense systems.
