its presence in the provider market. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. 

Through the acquisition, Infosys plans to strengthen its work with health systems and provider organizations by adding Optimum’s capabilities in health record advisory, implementation, support, enterprise applications, digital transformation, and workforce management. The transaction will also expand Infosys’ access to new provider relationships and buying centers, while allowing Optimum’s clients to tap a broader set of services across AI, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application modernization. Optimum also brings established ecosystem ties, including partnerships with ServiceNow, AWS, Workday, and Microsoft Azure.

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh stated, “By bringing together Optimum’s provider experience with Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, we are positioned to create a differentiated value proposition for healthcare providers.” He added that the combination should help accelerate end-to-end digital transformation. 

Optimum Healthcare IT CEO and Co-Founder Gene Scheurer said, “With Infosys’ long-term investment and global scale behind us, we’re positioned to accelerate AI and digital-led growth.” President and Co-Founder Jason Mabry also said the company would maintain its existing team, leadership involvement, and client-focused service model.
